Rainy Side Hosts ImagesWe have a special section on the forum for you to upload your garden photos. We do allow uploading images no larger than 50K or less. If it is a larger file, you will need to resize it before we will host the photo on Rainy Side.
Image Widths Please do not post overly wide images (over 450 pixels wide) that mess up the tables and make it difficult for people to read the posts. Such images are deleted, but you are welcome to re-post it after you have resized it to a smaller width size. ![]() Number of images We love to see garden photos but please post no more than 3 photos per thread out of courtesy to our members with slow modem hook-ups. If you have more than 3 photos to share, start another thread for them. Garden Photos Only Please We only allow garden photos to be posted. We will from time to time delete older files we are hosting to free up room. This is not meant to be permanent storage for your photos; it is to allow you to show your garden, or problem plants, or prize plants to others. Under no circumstances are any images posted on our forum to be linked so the image shows on an off site. Anyone caught doing this will have his or her forum privileges immediately revoked. Doing so not only slows our site down but is also a serious no-no from our server's point of view. However, you are welcome to give out the url to the page where it is located. New Members New members cannot post photos on the forum until they have posted at least 20 times. Its not that we dislike newbies, it’s to discourage spammers from posting unwanted images on the board. Once a newbie reaches 20 posts, they can upload images to Rainy Side. Hosting Your Own Photos If you have the means to host your own photos on another site you can post those images anywhere on Rainy Side Gardener’s forum as long as they are on topic to the forum where they are posted. We still ask that you make sure the images are not too large and do not interfere with the table widths. Any images that are too large or too wide are deleted. As we said before you can repost them after you resize them to meet the requirements. This helps keep the forum easy to read and faster to download for everyone. Edited by DebbieTT |

You can download free photo software that will enable you to resize your photographs, if your current software does not.
