GROWING GUIDE

Geographic Origin: Europe.
Plant Group: Perennials.
Hardiness: Sunset zones: All. USDA zones: 5-8.
Mature size: Height 3 inches (7 cm). Width: 12 inches (30 cm).
Flowering period: Summer.
Flowering attributes: Bright reddish-pink flowers on 4 inch stems.
Leaf attributes: Succulent, fleshy stems form a rosette, covered with cobweb-like white hairs.
Growth habit: Mat-forming.
Light: Full sun.
Soil: Poor, gritty, well-drained soil.
Propagation Methods: Root rosettes spring or early summer.

Rainy Side Notes

This has grown best for me in gritty soil mulched with pea gravel. This keeps the rosettes clean of dirt or other type mulches. Tuck this perennial into wall crevices or any poor soil situations.
