Geographic Origin: Europe and Central Asia.
Plant Group: Perennial.

Hardiness: Sunset zones: 4-24. USDA zones: 5-8.
Mature size: Height: 5 feet (1.5 m). Width: 4 feet (1.2 m).
Flowering period: Late spring to early summer.
Flowering attributes: Lavender purple blooms in a whorl around the stems.
Leaf attributes: Arrow-shaped, hairy green leaves.
Growth habit: Clump forming.
Light: Full sun.
Soil: Fertile, well-drained soil.
Feeding: Side dress with compost and fertilize in spring.
Propagation Methods: Sow seed in spring 68ºF (20ºC). | Divide in spring or fall.

Rainy Side Notes

This has been slow-to-establish perennial in my garden, but worth the wait.
