Leaf attributes: Evergreen, small, spoon-shaped leaves. Growth habit: Spreading mound. Light: Full sun. Soil: Moist, well-drained, neutral soil (neutral soil shown in references but it thrives on acidic soil in my Pacific Northwest garden.) Pruning Methods: Prune lightly after flowering to keep compact. Rainy Side NotesFlowering about the same time as Scilla, Iberis complements the bulbs when planted in the same bed. A common plant that I never get tired of seeing it in full bloom cascading down a rock wall. | |
