Rainy Side Notes

Charles Oliver of Scotsdale, Pennsylvania bred this charming, petite heuchera. The ancestors come from the alpine regions of the Rocky Mountains, which gives it its small size. It was then combined with larger garden hybrids for its wonderful foliage color. Its parents are Heuchera ‘San Pico Rosita’ and H. ‘Regina’.

H. 'Petite Pearl Fairy' blooms at the same time as Chiastophyllum in my garden, making a lively combination of pink and yellow. If you enjoy the Coral bells, this plant is definitely one to add to your collection.
