Geographic Origin: British Columbia to California.
Plant Group: Ferns.
Hardiness: Sunset zones: 4-6, 15-17. USDA zones: 8-10.
Mature size: Height: 12 inches. Width: Indefinate.
Leaf attributes: Evergreen, glossy, pinnate, deep green fronds
Growth habit: Often grows on trees and rocks.
Light: Shade to partial shade.
Soil: Humus rich soil, nurse logs, trees, rocks.
Propagation Methods: Sow spores when ripe. | Divisions in spring or early summer.

Wonderful growing on our native maples, the ones above are growing on Pinus contorta (Krummholzes) or Shore Pine.
