Light pink petals with dark pink edging.

Soil:
Fertile, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. In containers grow in a peat-based potting medium.
Feeding:
Feed container grown begonias with a well-balanced fertilizer, every other watering, during growth period.

During mild winters this begonia has survived in my garden when forgotten and left in the ground. The begonias were planted beneath conifers, ajuga and ferns in a protected spot.
Lift tubers in fall and dry thouroughly. I place them in dry peat and leave in an unheated garage or shed. In early spring the tubers are replanted in pots and brought inside to sprout. When danger of frost has passed they are then transplanted outside.
