Attributes

Hardiness: Sunset zones: 4-24.
USDA zones: 6-9, possibly perennial in zone 5 in protected areas.
Mature size: Height: 24-32 inches (60-80 cm).
Flowering period: Summer.
Flowering attributes: Dark orange flowers with a red throat are arranged in two rows along a stalk that normally bends horizontally when in full bloom.
Leaf attributes: Clear green, strap-like leaves.

Rainy Side Notes

Crocosmia 'Emily McKenzie' has a beautiful flower with markings that remind me of daylilies. Of the many "crocs" to choose from, this one is one of the choicer hybrids.
